oriental triptic

This was a present for my mum's birthday. Ink pen, feltips and collage on old, crumbled and bumpy paper, the best I ever found...Nothing was planned. A mere recollection of what came out that day. My uncle says that the queer looking girl on the tree, is me. represented as a girl and as a woman. Unfortunately, I am not that profound. I just think she's cute with that awkward style...

and these are the "stare still" puppets

Happy married couple

The side patterns on both versions have been cut off, won't say who's fault it is...

Not baptized yet...

This jolly young lady was born a few months ago. Once again, she was too big for my scanner (no offence), so she was obliged to pose under the cruel objetive of my camera. I tell you, she looks better in real life...The biggest problem is that she still has no name. I'm open to any suggestions. She once proposed Matilda, but I have the feeling it is too obvious...

Alex. My dear and charming Alex, it's your birthday today...Last time I saw you, you ran away from the gay festival in chueca. Can't blame you for that, London is London, but we really missed you. (Not that we merged into the crowd much longer, malasaña was calling us from the distance). Anyways, just wanted to say, me ha encantado haberte conocido...I dedicate this first blog drawing to you.
I made it. At last. Must confess, not very good at computers. I baptized my new born blog yesterday and it took me a while to discover how we were supposed to hang stuff in this amazing invention. But there we go, it wasn't that bad after all. Here I come...
